We're a small crew of habit-nerds, game designers, and pixel artists who got tired of habit trackers that feel like spreadsheets with guilt attached. So we built HabitPet, a habit tracker that actually wants to hang out with you every day.
Consistency shouldn't feel like punishment. We wanted a tool that celebrates small wins instead of shaming missed ones, so we wrapped real behavior-science principles in something playful enough that you'll actually open it in the morning — even before coffee.
Track anything — water, reading, workouts, or breaking a bad habit — and every completed goal feeds your virtual companion, who grows, levels up, and unlocks new accessories as your streaks stack up. Smart reminders keep you both on track, home-screen widgets let you check off habits without opening the app, and detailed stats turn your progress into something you can actually see.

HabitPet was built on one simple rule: your habits are yours, and so is your data. Here's what that means in practice.
We don't collect any personal information — full stop. There are no accounts, names, emails, phone numbers, or location data requested or accessed. The habits you track, notes you add, streak history, and your pet's growth progress are created and stored entirely on your own device. We never see any of it.
Because nothing is collected, nothing is used, analyzed, or shared. There's no behavioral profiling, no usage analytics sent to us, and nothing to sell. Every feature, from streak tracking to pet leveling to home-screen widgets, runs entirely on-device.
All app data — your habit list, completion history, streak counts, and pet stats — is stored locally in the app's private storage on your phone or tablet. There is no cloud sync, no remote database, and no server that the app communicates with.
The app does not integrate third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. No external company receives data from your use of the app, because no data ever leaves your device.
Since your information never travels over a network or touches an external server, the biggest security risk it faces is the same one your device already protects against: unauthorized physical access. We keep the app's on-device footprint minimal and avoid unnecessary background processes.
The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect information from anyone at all. There are no sign-ups, profiles, or personal identifiers involved at any age, keeping the app aligned with COPPA principles by design.
You're always in full control of your data. Since everything lives locally, deleting the app removes your habit history, streaks, and pet progress completely — no cloud backups or hidden accounts retain a copy elsewhere.
We may update this policy occasionally to reflect new features or clarify existing language. Any changes will be posted here with a revised effective date at the top of the page.
